“ Sometimes I can't string my own rackets for whatever reason. Anyone know where to get the cheapest stringing labor around here? Seems like $12-15 is the cheapest I can find ”

I've gone to my local Sport Chalet, and if you bring in your strings, they charge $10 for labor. My friend had his restrung at another Sport Chalet, and the price was the same, so I'm assuming it's the same rate at all of them.

Beware that if your strings happen to be the same brand as one they sell there, point that out at the register. Otherwise, they may try to charge you for them.

The one I go to is in Marina Del Rey (13455 Maxella Avenue Marina Del Rey, CA 90292-8810), and the one my friend goes to is in West LA (11801 West Olympic Blvd.,W. Los Angeles,CA,90064)

I forgot to mention that the Marina Del Rey is pretty good with their turnaround time--it usually takes them two days to get the racket restrung. My friend doesn't break his strings that much, so he only been to the West LA one once, and they gave him a 1 week turnaround time.

The pro shop at South end restrings racquets. They used to be quite good.
