This place has really good Japanese-French-style cakes and pastries. Pretty good price. I think the owner used to cater for the Lakers. There's a lot of pictures in there of him with Magic Johnson and some other former players.

There's a bakery in the market that sells really good bread. I don't know the type but it kind of looks like a cross between traditional white bread and challah. It has a blue label. I wouldn't buy any cake here though.

I think the cake is too dry and pretty flavorless. The other pastries are pretty decent. I think they have cream pan there.

I'd recommend this place solely on the cream puffs, since those were absolutely delicious. Can't vouch for anything else, but feel free to try and tell me about it
