“ I have a bunch of old computer parts (and even whole computers). I feel bad throwing it in the dumpster, because don't they have lead and mercury and other crap in it?

I've never tried to drop anything off but it seems pretty convenient. Keep in mind it's only open Th, F, Sat 8am - 2pm.

According to http://www.gcycle.org/ you can drop computers and monitors off at your local Staples (or Best Buy)
I've never been there but it's near by.

There are dudes in Tyvek suits that will unload your crap and send you on your way. It's a huge operation and they're really efficient.
