Bike's are supper simple to work on especially road. You can get by with basic tools and when you do get to a point that you need a unique tool, its probably cheaper to buy the tool than to have a shop do it. Its also fun!

I would actually recommend David Hu's bike shop. They have more tools, and you save yourself the work.
